Matthew Phillip popularly known as Daking, a musician who loves music so much that music became his life, a child of an urhobo parents from ethiop east kokori Delta state Nigeria, was born in kano state, Nigeria, which made him know a little of the Hausa tribe.

Started music at a tender age in his primary school, as a baptist he was a member of the juvenile choir where he grew and found his dept in music and decided to go further, due to this he encountered some roughs and lakes in this journey, after leaving kano he started pushing more, found some friends who had like minds and they became a well known group

"The Tug Mansion" a crew of five, which some are still in music till date, he was one of the main vocalists, he did some of the writings sometimes, he has a different music vocals, his taste was so different, that when he encountered @harry song and some other well known artiste in studio he was confirmed. 

He became friend with harry song and his crew then "DESIGNERS VOICES" he so grew that a well known music producer @Chimberlin took him as one of his boys, this grew him,   then chimberlin left to other city, and some of those who support left for other things, he stood strong, even when the crew parted  due to changes and other engagement, but he stayed. Now he is still standing. 

He keeps saying "keep grinding, don't stop I must get there".
